Two words that can lift your spirits. Two words that have so many crazy connotations to it, it’s ridiculous. HOUSE PARTY.
Yes! An experience filled with great music, comfort and a butt load of alcohol is the definition of a house party. After all, good times, good music and good mates go best with alcohol.
Well, your love of house parties is going to be strengthened for here are a bunch of some solid reasons.
1) No Stranger Danger
It’s not that we don’t like going to bars or pubs and having fun outdoors. But in all honesty, sometimes drunken strangers are nothing but a sour addition to what could have been a fun night. The reason being, people are weird and they get weirder on alcohol.
This problem does not exist at house parties. Primarily because there is usually a list of people invited, and most of the time, you know all the people that would show up, so no question of strangers.
2) Pocket Friendly
Increased prices. Service Taxes. And more taxes. Basically, drinking outside is super pricey and by the time your bill arrives you’re sober and bankrupt. House parties on the contrary, do not work on commercial trade policies; there are no taxes being levied. You go to a store, buy your alcohol and food etc., get them back to the house and get it going on!

Night outs require paying for travel, drinks, food, etc and add all those taxes to them and you shall have a dent in your pocket. You will be surprised at how much money you saved and how hammered you got for a deal that good.
3) That’s My Jam
Oh yes. Music is such an important element at any drunken event. One wrong song, one bad choice of genre and everyone’s mood just drops down. This is such a common occurrence while drinking outdoors. But at a house party, man oh man, the AUX cord is yours to seize! You have a lot more of options when it comes to music and you can play the tunes that you like.
You can even throw a fit about that song you don’t like and change that tune which kills your buzz because everyone is friends, yo! This option is not really available outdoors. At clubs you’re stuck with the DJ’s playlist; if there’s a jukebox, you won’t be the only person playing your songs. But not at a house party; here you can be the DJ yourself!
4) Feel At Home
If you are a lazy raver, you have the benefit to chill at one place and not keep bouncing from hither to thither. While chilling at a house party and going from one room to another, you will always find a comfy little corner to lie in. If the host is nice enough, they might even let you even stay the night if you can’t stumble back home.
On a night out, you probably won’t find a spot to pass out in. And of course, the polite staff might escort you and your drunk buddies out and ask you to move on; or maybe even an angry bouncer trying to kick you out of the club.
5) No Restrictions
You know that uncertainty when it comes to drinking out? There is always a chance that the joint you go to is full, or there is a really long queue at the club of your choice. Well, at a house party your entry to one hell of a night is guaranteed. No matter what the time is, the doors to a house party will always be open.
You can choose when you want it to end, with none of that “last order” rubbish. On the contrary, drinking out at a bar or a club has a time limit, after which everybody has to evacuate the premises. But at house parties, you can enter when you want and leave when you want with no “stamp” required.
6) Endless Means of Entertainment
House parties always have so much going on in one place. A bunch of people dancing, some watching a movie, others having serious debates – everything will be happening at the same time. Everybody has found their place and everybody has fun in their own way.
7) No Dress Code
Unless it’s a costume party or something, there is literally no dress code at house parties. You can slip into a dapper suit or even a pair of sweatpants and nobody would care. It doesn’t matter in the least as to what you are going to wear to a house party; you can wear a pair of chinos, a vest and a slip on a pair of crocs, and nobody would bat an eye! So there is no stress about “what to wear?”, because you’re just going to go chill and probably play some beer pong.
So ladies and gentlemen, let’s take a moment here to cherish house parties for being the perfect mode of limitless carousing without any stress about time, money or the ‘over crowdedness’.
