Should you drink your wine chilled or at room temperature is probably the biggest dilemma every new wine enthusiast faces. There are very simple rules when it comes to the ideal serving temperature of wines, white wines are generally served chilled and red wines are served at room temperature.
Ideal Temperature –
● Red Wines: 12˚C > 18˚C
● White Wine: 8˚C > 12˚C
● Sparkling Wine or Dessert Wine: 5˚C and 7˚C
Ideal Beer Serving Temperature
A Beer should be served between 3-12° C. Lagers are generally served colder than ales. Stronger beers are supposed to be served warmer than mild beers.
It is said that beers should be a few degrees colder than the target temperature.
This can nullify the warming that happens in the glass and the drinker’s hands.

Ideal Whiskey Temperature
When talking about whiskey, most of us are really confused about the ideal temperature.

Ideal Serving Temperature of Vodka
Traditionally vodka should be consumed cold. Same goes with gin. Both these drinks
taste best when chilled. When stored in a freezer you can get a richer feel, which can
easily neutralize the harshness that alcohol is associated with.
When you consciously reduce the temperature of vodka or gin it helps softens the alcohol perception and enhances the taste. You can enjoy it much more in such a scenario.

Ideal Rum Serving Temperature
Rum is a drink that is often experimented with aerated drinks. There are different types of add-on drinks that work well with warm rum as well. To preserve the flavour and enjoy it to the optimum the best temperatures are ranging between 12 and 16 degrees.
If the temperature outside is low, hot rum served at room temperature can be a great option. The drinker's hands will warm the rum naturally as he holds the glass.
That does not mean you cannot enjoy Rum in summers. Rum poured over ice or mixed with other add-ons can also serve as the perfect drink.
Ideal Tequila Serving Temperature
Want to sip it, take a shot with lime and salt or make margarita of it, tequila tastes good both at room temperature and when chilled.
If you have only tried tequila cocktails which are completely chilled, you have to give tequila at room temperature a “shot”.
